I fell asleep last night to the sound of rain and
woke up this morning to the sound of rain lightly hitting my tent
This morning just after check in someone asked for helpers to put up a marquee. I turned to Lucy not knowing what it was. I spent most of my day putting this 1953 army marquee up for the fete this Sunday.

On my way to the lake for a swim
Lying in the grass allowing the sun and wind to dry my body after going for an afternoon swim I remember thinking:
I want to be the one who knows who they are and does not
unconsciously pretend to be soft in front of tough guys
or act tough around other tough girls...
I want to be able to be who I am no matter who I am around.
My day is not over yet. Dinner and time in the woman's yurt with the woman around here is yet to come. (I am curious if it will feel like woman's joy.) Either way I am looking forward to the bonding and visiting.
Starting to piece together the puzzle of time off, coordination, transportation, and what I want to do when I am not at Embercombe. It is exciting.
I am very glad I am where I am, it feels right.
